Ella started pre-school this month! Here she is her first day of school, ready to go! She was disappointed when she realized she wasn't going to be riding the bus to school, but she was still excited to wear her new backpack. She's going to a pre-school at one of the local high school's. The high school students take a child learning elective and along with a professional teacher, they help team teach the pre-school class. Ella loves having more than one teacher, though we haven't been able to get much more out of her about how she likes it. I think she's loving it though. If ever a child was ready for pre-school, it was Ella. She knows most of her letters and recognizes her name. Today she came home and she had made a wooly warm with cotton balls. The fun googly eyes didn't last long I'm sorry to report.

We also had our friends visit for the weekend last weekend. Ella and her best pal, Peter, had fun exploring Middleburg on our Saturday adventure. We took in the sights of the quaint little town only 3o minutes from our house, and then we went to the farmer's market!

Ella and Peter enjoyed this huge rocking horse in the expensive children's store in Middleburg.

The farmer's market was a lot of fun! The kids enjoyed the chickens and bunnies that were there. We bought some great yummy produce and came home to make a nice dinner.

And Amelia is growing by leaps and bounds. Her new favorite past time: climbing the stairs!
And so it begins!
The never ending chasing. She's cute and is so proud of herself. Walking is just around the corner.

We are enjoying September and have especially enjoyed the fall like weather that's come our way this past week. We look forward to more fall festivities to come!
