More Ella-isms

This week Ella has said so many funny things but I need to start writing them down because usually I forget the details much like my own dreams at night. But here are a few I remember:

Ella found a white table cloth at nana's house and proceeded to put it on her head and tell me "mommy, I'm getting married." Of course I replied, "well who's the lucky guy?" After a series of guesses including Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid and Flynn Rider from Repunzel, she told me it was in fact daddy who she was going to be marrying. So there you go, Freud indeed was correct when he said children go through an Oedipus complex. Case in point my own Ella.

Earlier today Ella asked me if Amelia was asleep or awake. Amelia was awake and in my arms when she asked so the answer was obvious and I said, "what do you think she looks like?" Ella responded, "She looks like daddy." This kid is too funny. Then I asked her who she looked like and she said, "I look like Ella." When I asked her who I looked like she told me PU (as in P U stinky). Lovely!

Other than that the two of them are constantly entertaining me. Amelia is picking up cheerios and working on her grasp. She enjoys eating with us and thinks every meal should be hers. Ella dresses up every day and goes through three or four outfits a day of her choosing. She also goes through about five pairs of underwear. Every time she goes potty she claims she has to have new underwear even when hers are perfectly clean. So usually I just put them back in her drawer when she's not looking so she doesn't run out in one day. She is doing really well with potty training and has had less than five accidents since Thanksgiving. She's a pro!
