Myrtle Beach, 2015

The Ocean speaks to my soul, and I was very grateful that this year we were able to return to South Carolina for a little R%R under the Southern sun! We took advantage of cheaper post Labor Day fares and headed to the beach the week after Labor Day. The kids missed a few days of school, but the weather was still warm and the crowds were down, so in my mind that was the perfect time to take this little venture. We kept it pretty simple and spent most days enjoying the beach, the ocean, and playing in the pool (a must with young children). We went out to eat a couple of nights, but many nights we just made food and stayed in. My parents were gracious enough to pay for the entire week, and they even watched the girls a couple of times so Shaun and I could have a date night or two. We truly are blessed with wonderful family! Plus there were a few afternoons when nana could stay in the condo and be with Alex during his nap while I got to be out at the beach with Shaun and the girls. It was probably the most relaxing way to spend a week with three children. I even read one WHOLE Book! I haven't been able to read much more than a blog post since Alex was born. So without further ado, here are the photos of our fabulous beach trip!
