Day. 1: We're Off!

No one is ready to cruise until their feet are ready, so the girls and I took the morning and got pedicures while Shaun packed the van. 

So now with our toes all did we are ready to drive to Charleston, South Carolina, where we will board our ship to the Bahamas. We took this first day and drove half way, staying at a nice hotel in North Carolina. We had dinner at Cracker Barrel. I really feel like when you're traveling through the Carolinas Cracker Barrel is a must do at least once in your life, and this was a first for our kids. Then we had time to come back and swim in the pool before heading to bed.
