Day 3: Bahamas Bound

Friday we woke up and enjoyed a breakfast on the deck.
I could never get over that amazing water views. It was awe inspiring and really my favorite place on the ship was whichever side of the boat was shaded. There were always a ton of people in the middle of the ship by the pool, but the sides of the ship had amazing views and wonderful breezes. They were a little less Vegas and a little more my style. Quiet and serene.

So you may wonder how they fit five people in a little cabin on a ship. I know I did. Well, here's how. Bunks. A bunk came down over our bed, and a bunk came down on the opposite wall, with a cot underneath on the floor for Alex. In the picture below the one bunk is not down, but then I have a picture of Amelia on it in the following photo.

Quinn surprisingly, it was really comfy. Not a lot of walking room, but for four nights it worked out okay, and the beds were comfy.  And of course our cabin boy, Peter, made us fun towel creations each day.

This day at sea we read, enjoyed the hot hot tub with our kids in the kids club, and had a dinner at the nice dinner hall with my parents and sister and Mike for my parents anniversary.
This is what my parents love to do. Read and relax. Thanks to the kids club I got to do some of that too.
And some of this. Look at that handsome guy😍.

The kids had a great time too. Amelia wanted to spend any free time she could with her cousin, Lacy. All of them had fun at Camp Ocean.
Alex didn't love the kid camp as much as his big sisters, but he slowly warmed up to it. This was right before we dropped him off so we could go out with the adults for nana and papa's dinner. He's so cute. It's also my only picture of the inside of the cruise ship's grand lobby.

My parents 50th Anniversary! This was a nice night to visit with the adults and enjoy a fancy dinner.

So that concluded Day 3 of our vacation. The next day we were off on our excursion to the Bahamas!
