Ella met her teacher last week and was really excited that she was young and sweet. She looked a bit like Barbie and that helped I think, but she also seems very organized and calm. Ella came home her first day a bit unhappy because school is "boring" and she didn't make any friends, but was in better spirits on her second day, saying that they did fun activities and she likes some of the kids in her class. I'm praying hard that this is a good year for her, because heaven help us if she decides she isn't invested. We're staying positive and I think it's going to be a great year of 1st grade!
